BIRTH DEFECTS
1 in every 30 babies is born with one or more major birth defects; most are correctable with modern surgery.
We believe genetic research is the key to providing us with the ability to diagnose and possibly correct a range of birth defects for
generations to come.
The following is a list of birth defects that
we are hoping to shed some light on with our research. By clicking on a birth defect below,
you can learn more about the specific illness.

  Amniotic band syndrome
Cleft lip
Congenital limb defects
Duodenal atresia
Hydrocephalus
Left-sided cardiac flow lesions
Spina bifida
Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome)
Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)
Urinary system defects

Diaphragmatic hernia
